Mrs. Koenig's Summer
Here are a few photos of what I've been doing the last few months. I had more time to relax, play, and work on projects than I ever had before, because this was the first summer that I've had off from work ever sense I was 15 years old! Ouch!
This summer, I hung out with friends and family, read, spent time outdoors, and went on a mini trip to Idaho to visit a dear friend. I also got to see my little baby nephew grow and change (which was my favorite part!). Enjoy the photos below:
Spending time with family...
Mini family reunion
Hike with my cousin
Shopping with my mom
My dads truck show
Hanging outside with my husband
Spending time with some friends...
4th of July
4th of July
Aumsville Fun Run
Just spending quality time with girlfriends
Spending time with my little nephew...
Trip to Idaho....
At the airport, I saw Terry Porter (if your parents liked to watch the Blazers during the late 80's/early 90's, then they will enjoy this photo)!
Hiked up some foothills
Went to a free MC Hammer concert. Your parents may find this entertaining :)
This fall I plan to read as much as possible, jog in a few events, and watch football (well, I will most likely just hear it in the background). GO DUCKS!
I'm looking forward to reading/hearing about your summer!

SNACKS & WATER BOTTLES
Each day I will allow some time for a healthy snack. Some examples of what students can bring are crackers, fruit, vegetables, cheese, etc. Students CANNOT bring candy, cake, cookies, etc. for a snack.
One more thing to add to your school list....a water bottle! Please bring a water bottle every day to school. I strongly encourage students to drink water throughout the day. I don't allow students to get up during class to use the fountain, so please be prepared to come each day with a water bottle in hand! Why should you bring a water bottle? Check out the link that's titled "Drinking Water and Children."
